Prior inclusion probability \(p\) of each lag coefficient.

One half is indifferent: the odds are then decided by the likelihood alone. Lower values encode a belief that most coefficients are zero and raise the bar for inclusion. Fixed, not learned. Must be strictly between zero and one.
