MinnesotaPrior._label#

MinnesotaPrior._label()[source]#

Short description for summary tables and comparison rows.

minnesota(l1=..., l2=..., l3=..., l4=...) with l5 appended when the sum-of-coefficients restriction is set, each value in %g format. It is the prior_label of every result fitted under this prior and the source of its marginal-likelihood record, so two fits differing only in a hyperparameter are told apart in a table.

Return type:

str

Returns:

The label.

Example

>>> MinnesotaPrior()._label()
'minnesota(l1=0.2, l2=0.5, l3=1, l4=100)'
>>> MinnesotaPrior(tightness=0.05, sum_of_coefficients=1.0)._label()
'minnesota(l1=0.05, l2=0.5, l3=1, l4=100, l5=1)'
