IndependentNormalWishartPrior._minnesota#

IndependentNormalWishartPrior._minnesota()[source]#

The MinnesotaPrior whose moments and rows this prior states.

Every field is copied across unchanged, so the two classes cannot drift apart in their variance rules or their dummy construction; this class contributes only its label and the pairing its type signals to the estimator. Built on each call, which is cheap.

Return type:

MinnesotaPrior

Returns:

A MinnesotaPrior with the same six fields.

Example

>>> IndependentNormalWishartPrior(cross_equation=0.3)._minnesota()._label()
'minnesota(l1=0.2, l2=0.3, l3=1, l4=100)'
